The director of Hotel Honucai shares his favorite hidden gems in La Vanguardia
“If I had to choose just two, they would be Es Carbó and Es Trenc,” Jaume shared in the interview. Both are just a short distance from Hotel Honucai: the first, wild and secluded; the second, a paradise of white sand and turquoise waters. For families, he recommends easily accessible beaches with calm waters such as Ses Covetes, Playa de Muro, or Es Dolç, right by the seafront promenade of Colonia de Sant Jordi.
From the hotel, you can set off on scenic walks and cycling routes to places like Es Caragol or the Mondragó Natural Park. And if you’re looking to combine mountains and sea, Cala Tuent is the perfect hidden gem.
Jaume also revealed his favorite spots to watch the sun go down: Es Port des Canonge, Cala Tuent, and Es Carbó at dusk, when it feels like you have the entire beach to yourself.
In the interview, Jaume also highlighted three unmissable experiences at the hotel:
“Waking up in one of our rooms overlooking the harbor is an experience in itself,” Jaume concluded. You can read the full interview here.
